the point is that the same 25 supportive friends will come to the opening and the same newspapers/artblogs have no time/room to list it. so why not let go of all press release rules and tell you how i really feel. about this show. about opening the door this morning and jumping up and down like a crazy kid. about thinking about rikki's pieces when i went to bed last night and then again first thing when i woke up this morning. about her killer smile when we got done putting them up. about my excitement that nationale will host its first dance performance at the reception. about going with what feels right, always and forever, because that's what makes me happy.
please come celebrate rikki rothenberg's terrific new show, linus and osa: we are cats on first friday june 5th (6-9pm). woolly mammoth will be coming to dinner.

Yay!!! What a great post. So honest and yet so heart-warming, as things should be. I am so excited to see Rikki's show and Nationale.

osa wishes she could come. but agoraphobia prevents her venturing more than 6 feet from the house.
after this month i will have friday off and i will be able to support the art!!! mah!
